Robert Saltzmann has extensive experience in security management across multiple sectors, including government and private industry. From 2002 to 2012, Robert served as a Manager in the Secure Flight Office of Intelligence Operations at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, overseeing a team of over 200 intelligence analysts. Following that, from 2012 to 2015, Robert held the position of Chief Operations Officer for Global Security at Torres AES, where responsibilities included directing global security operations for Federal Government contracts. At Amazon Web Services, from 2016 to 2022, Robert was the Global Security Senior Manager, focusing on crisis response strategies and security policy development. Currently, Robert is the Sr Manager of Security at SpaceX, a role started in July 2025. Most recently, from June 2022 to November 2024, Robert worked as the Chief Executive Security Advisor at Microsoft, leading global security programs and providing critical guidance on secure workload migration. Prior military experience includes serving as an Intel Analyst at the United States Army Special Operations Command from 1992 to 2003.
