Roni Margousi

Roni Margousi is a skilled propulsion engineer with extensive experience in rocket design and testing. Currently employed at SpaceX since August 2024, Roni previously led various roles in the Rocket Project at UCLA from October 2020 to June 2024, including Liquid Project Lead and Liquid Propulsion Lead, overseeing crucial projects like a liquid rocket achieving an apogee of 30,000 feet. Notable accomplishments include completing multiple hotfire campaigns, optimizing vehicle design, and pioneering additively-manufactured engine components. Roni also contributed as a Dragon Propulsion Intern at SpaceX during two separate tenures in 2022 and 2023, and gained valuable industry insights through internships at Varda Space Industries. Roni holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
