Natalie Locke is an experienced educator currently serving as a Class Teacher at Spaghetti Bridge Ltd since October 2020, where responsibilities include teaching students with various social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and delivering Entry Level and Functional Skills Maths and English programs. Previous roles include Senior Teaching Assistant and Teaching Assistant, fostering support for students with SEMH needs and organizing well-being initiatives. Earlier experience encompasses working as a Sales Advisor for Ted Baker and serving as a Primary School Teacher at Richard Whittington Primary School, where significant achievements included guiding Year 6 cohorts through KS2 SATS and enhancing safeguarding practices during residential trips. Natalie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education from The University of Winchester.

Spaghetti Bridge is helping students to overcome their individual challenges and achieve personal and academic growth. We believe that through building trust and rebuilding confidence, every young person can reach his or her full potential. Our approach is specifically designed to provide a positive experience for students, re-engaging and reconnecting them with education in a way that will not only extend their academic, vocational and social skills and abilities, but also promote personal growth and help to build self-esteem. We recognise that for many students, the journey of education so far has been far from easy, so we take a more creative, individualised approach to learning, centred around well-being and skills for independence. From the time they arrive, we start thinking about where students will be moving to after they leave us to ensure they are well prepared to achieve their goals and succeed. Many students are particularly vulnerable and have not developed at the same social or emotional pace as their peers. These students will benefit from the nurturing and more focused curriculum we provide, helping them develop core capabilities with enhanced social and emotional support, and successfully transition into an enriched learning environment with their peers.
