Nestor Alvaro

Nestor Alvaro, PhD, currently serves as the Director of AI and Advanced Analytics at Santalucía Seguros and as a Natural Language Processing (NLP) Researcher/Project Technical Lead at The University of Tokyo. With extensive experience in the field of artificial intelligence, Nestor co-founded Spain AI and has held various academic positions, including lecturer roles at ICEMD and Universidad Europea, focusing on Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics. Previous roles include Artificial Intelligence Solutions Architect at StratioBD and Head of Cognitive at Deloitte Digital, providing strategic AI solutions in various industries. Nestor holds a PhD in Natural Language Processing and has studied at prestigious institutions such as the University of Cambridge and IESE Business School.
