Based in Silicon Valley, Dan Spalding is an accomplished communications professional with more than 25 years of corporate communications and public relations experience. He founded Spalding Communications in 2009 with first clients Palo Alto Networks, Agito Networks (acquired by ShoreTel) and Avenda Systems (acquired by Aruba Networks). Since then he has worked with more than 35 companies across the United States and internationally, many of which have also been acquired. Dan has a long track record of successfully growing emerging startup companies, resulting in favorable exits and growth.
Prior to founding Spalding Communications, Dan had a proven track record of more than 15 years serving as the corporate communications lead for a number of successful Silicon Valley companies in a variety of industries, including Neoteris (acquired by NetScreen, ultimately acquired by Juniper Networks), Port Authority Technologies (acquired by Websense), Securent (acquired by Cisco), Proxim and Centigram (acquired by ADC Telecommunications).
Dan began his career in corporate communications at FMC Corporation. He attended Santa Clara University, earning both his MBA in Marketing and BA in Communication.
