Pieter Nortje

Pieter Nortje is a Software Engineer II at SPAN Digital Innovation since October 2021, previously serving as a Software Engineer at The Sun Pays cc from April 2021 to October 2021. At The Sun Pays cc, Pieter was responsible for developing and maintaining a web application using React.js, creating a Python Flask API for database operations, deploying software on Google Cloud Platform, and working on IoT development with Raspberry Pi. Prior to that, Pieter operated as a self-employed web developer and UI designer from March 2020 to February 2021, focusing on creating eCommerce websites with WordPress and custom JavaScript and CSS. Pieter holds a BSc in Information and Knowledge Systems with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Pretoria, completed in December 2020.
