Jordan Bunker's work experience includes various roles in different companies. In 2008, as an Independent Contractor, they specialized in the design and fabrication of low-volume products and prototypes. At Palace Games, from February 2018 to January 2019, they worked as an Interactive Infrastructure Engineer, designing and fabricating unique kinetic interactive props for escape rooms. From 2016 to 2016, at Next Thing Co., they served as a Pretengineer, overseeing workshop staff, designing and building large props for events, and prototypes for internal research. As a Technical Editor at Maker Media from 2015 to 2016, they were responsible for technical editing, writing, project design and fabrication, and video content creation. At Tableau Software, they held multiple roles including Technical Support Analyst, Community Support Analyst, Technical Support Engineer, and Technical Support Specialist from 2012 to 2015. In 2010, they co-founded Electromagnate, a production company for filming a documentary. Jordan also worked at The Art Institute of Chicago as an Advanced Output Center Technician from 2011 to 2012 and served as an Electronics Area Host at Pumping Station: One from 2011 to 2012. Currently, since 2021, they are a Sr. Hardware Engineer at SPAN.

Jordan Bunker attended Service High School from 2002 to 2006. Following high school, Bunker entered the University of Alaska Anchorage for three years, from 2006 to 2009, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. Afterwards, in 2009, Bunker briefly attended the Illinois Institute of Technology to further their studies in Electrical Engineering.
