Muhammad Tayyab

Muhammad Tayyab is a seasoned security engineering professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity across various companies. Currently serving as a Sr. Staff Security Engineer and Security Engineering Lead at SPAN since March 2023, Muhammad previously held positions at Rivian as a Staff Security Engineer and Senior Software Security Engineer from January 2021 to March 2023. Prior roles include Embedded Security Engineer at Aptiv and Graduate Student Research Assistant at the Information Systems Security and Forensics Lab at the University of Michigan, where Muhammad focused on automotive cybersecurity, including penetration testing and cryptography. Muhammad's career began as a Software Engineer at i2c Inc., working on infrastructure security and incident management. Muhammad holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
