Peng Chen, EIT

Peng Chen, EIT has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Peng is currently employed as an Applications Engineer at SPAN since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Electrical Design Engineer at Redwood Electric Group from June 2021 to April 2022. Peng also held the position of Junior Electrical Designer at Integral Group from July 2019 to April 2021. Before that, they worked as a Junior Engineering Designer at Hammerschlag & Joffe Inc. from September 2018 to December 2018. In January 2018, they were employed as a SCADA (Software Designer) at Cole Engineering Group. Peng also gained experience as an Electrical Engineering intern at NORR in 2017. In 2016, they worked as Project Support for Process Control Systems at the City of Toronto and as Transit Management System Support at York Region (The Regional Municipality of York). In 2015, they worked as a Service Desk Technician at Trapeze Group.

Peng Chen, EIT completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo from 2014 to 2019. In addition to their degree, they obtained the certification of Engineer In Training from the NCEES in December 2021 and the LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in July 2021.
