Stephen Lewchuk

Stephen Lewchuk has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Stephen started their career as a Text Input and Display Developer and later worked as a Core Components UI Developer at Research In Motion. Stephen then joined Kontagent as a Software Developer, where they focused on creating a user customizable dashboard for application-specific analytics. Stephen interned at Google as a Software Engineering Intern, where they designed and implemented an aggregation pipeline for combining hard drive health data. Stephen also worked as a Statistics and Metrics Intern at Mozilla Corporation.

In 2012, Stephen joined Inkling as a Software Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer. At Inkling, they designed and implemented a content transformation pipeline and architected a Hadoop MapReduce-based batch data pipeline.

Since 2019, Stephen has been working at Span as a Principal Software Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for designing and implementing cloud systems and mobile apps for distributed energy and home automation, using technologies like AWS, IoT, GraphQL, and React Native.
