J. Salas

J. Salas currently serves as Chief Content Officer at Spanish Broadcasting System since July 2022 and is a member of the MRC Board of Directors starting May 2023. With extensive experience in programming and operations at Spanish Broadcasting System since 2010, including the role of Executive Vice President of Programming, Salas exemplifies expertise in corporate operations, content development, and marketing. Previous leadership positions include Senior Director of Programming at Sherjan Broadcasting WJAN and Senior Program Director at Sirius XM Radio, where Salas significantly enhanced audience engagement across multiple Latin music channels. Salas also held programming supervision roles at Univision Radio and was instrumental in achieving top rankings for WSKQ-FM in New York. As a bilingual voice-over professional since 1993, Salas combines a passion for the Latin music industry with a strong background in media programming and management.
