Fernando Garcia

Fernando Garcia has extensive experience in the field of molecular biology, currently serving in the Proteomics Unit at CNIO since 2007. Their work involves the identification and quantification of proteins in complex mixtures through ultrahigh-resolution mass spectrometry, as well as the development of innovative methodologies for protein analysis in tumor tissues and proteome profiling to identify protein-drug interactions. Prior to this role, Fernando Garcia was the I+D Laboratory Manager at Cantabria Pharma, S.L. from February 1999 to August 2007. Fernando Garcia holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (1992-1997) and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (1985-1989).
