Isabel Espejo Díaz

Isabel Espejo Díaz is a postdoctoral researcher at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) in the Telomeres and Telomerase group, supported by a CNIO Friends Postdoctoral research scholarship from La Roche-Possay L'Oreal since October 2022. Additionally, Isabel serves as a scientific consultant at Inveniam Group and an associated professor at CEU San Pablo University, teaching various genetics courses across multiple programs. Previously, Isabel completed a PhD at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) and gained valuable experience through internships at Institut Curie and the Andalucian Center for Developmental Biology. Isabel holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and has completed multiple degrees in genetics and biotechnology from prestigious institutions.

CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre

The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre is a public institution of excellence committed to research, diagnosis and treatment for cancer. The CNIO currently houses 22 Research Groups, organised in 7 Scientific Programmes, plus 5 Clinical Research Unit(s) that work closely with several hospitals. These scientific groups are supported by 19 Core Units that provide state-of-the-art facilities and technical expertise. En el CNIO hay 19 Unidades de Apoyo a la Investigación dotadas de las más modernas instalaciones y conocimientos técnicos. El CNIO también tiene un Programa de Terapias Experimentales de referencia en el descubrimiento de nuevos fármacos.
