Leonardo Garma is a skilled scientist with extensive research experience in bioinformatics, multi-omic analysis, and electrophysiology. Since April 2023, Leonardo has worked as a Staff Scientist at the CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre, focusing on the multi-omic analysis of metastatic cancer patients. Prior to this, a postdoctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet from January 2020 to April 2023 involved bioinformatic analysis of single-cell sequencing data in the human and mouse striatum. Additional postdoctoral research at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia emphasized the development and application of in vitro electrophysiology tools. Leonardo's educational background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Oulu and various master's degrees in Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering, complemented by multiple advanced courses and summer schools across Europe.
