Marta Contreras Alcalde

Marta Contreras Alcalde is a Ph.D. research professional currently engaged in two significant projects, serving at the CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre and as an Early Stage Researcher with the Immutrain Training Network for the Immunotherapy of Cancer. The academic background includes a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Leiden University and a dual licenciatura in Biotechnology and Business Administration from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. Prior experience encompasses a traineeship at INSERM focusing on telomeres and their role in genome stability and cancer, research internships at to-BBB Technologies BV and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, as well as a research internship at UPM-INIA studying starch metabolism enzymes. This extensive experience positions Marta as a knowledgeable contributor in the fields of cancer research and biotechnology.
