Miguel Quintela-Fandino

Miguel Quintela-Fandino is the Director Científico at TNC terapia since July 2023, focusing on the creation of precision therapeutic diets to aid cancer treatment. Since April 2010, Miguel has served as the Director of the Clinical Research Program at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO), a leading cancer research facility in Europe, facilitating the transition of basic research into clinical applications. Additionally, Miguel Quintela-Fandino has been an Assistant Professor at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since October 2019, leading the Chair of Precision Oncology. Between March 2011 and October 2023, Miguel was the Head of the CNIO-Fuenlabrada Clinical Trials Unit, overseeing a team conducting oncology clinical trials. Educational qualifications include a Clinical Fellowship and Postdoctorate in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto, a Master's degree in Biostatistics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a PhD in Medicine from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and an MD from the University of Navarra.
