Spanish Peaks Software builds custom software solutions for life sciences companies, specializing in laboratory automation and instrument integration.
We develop drivers and integrations for platforms including PAA Overlord3 and Cellario, connecting laboratory instruments to the software systems that drive scientific workflows. Our work spans the full integration stack: from low-level instrument communication to event-driven architectures that keep LIMS platforms like Benchling in sync with lab operations.
Core capabilities include Overlord3 driver development for new instrument types, Cellario workflow integration and customization, Benchling LIMS data flow and API integration, and backend platform engineering using Python, FastAPI, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
We work with biotech companies and automation integrators who need reliable, production-grade software connecting their lab hardware to their data infrastructure.
