Markus Jäger is an accomplished Enterprise Architect and Lead Mobile Retail at SPAR ICS since May 2018, overseeing a team of product owners and software engineers to deliver mobile retail solutions and consumer apps across SPAR Austria Group. Prior to this role, Markus served as Domain Architect, shaping the Omnichannel Retail and Marketing IT landscape. Markus has extensive experience in digital product management from tenure at Red Bull Media House, where responsibilities included leading teams to develop and promote digital platforms, as well as managing mobile products. Earlier experience includes co-founding Kärnten Adventures, working as a project manager at RealNetworks, consulting at Booz & Company, and conducting R&D at ABB. Markus holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and additional degrees in Telecommunications and Business.
