Gautam Puri has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry. Gautam'smost recent position was as the Senior Vice President for Home & Living | Buying & Merchandising at SPAR India (Max Hypermarket India Pvt Limited) from September 2023. Prior to that, they served as the President of ALPHAVECTOR (INDIA)PRIVATE LIMITED from June 2022 to April 2023. Gautam also held roles such as Chief Sales and Product Innovation Officer at Hero Lectro E-Cycles and V.P - Retail & E-commerce at Hero Cycles Ltd. Earlier in their career, Gautam worked at METRO/MAKRO Cash and Carry, Aditya Birla Retail Limited, Reliance Trade Services, METRO/MAKRO Cash and Carry, Benetton Group, and Shoppers Stop in various buying, merchandising, and management positions.

From 1991 to 1994, Gautam Puri studied at Bangalore University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) degree. During this time, they focused on subjects such as English, Economics, Maths, and other related fields of study.
