Marie-Louise Ulfward

Marie-Louise Ulfward serves as Chefsjurist at Sparbankernas Riksförbund, focusing on regulatory affairs and serving as secretary to the board since September 2023. Previously, Ulfward held the position of Head of Group Legal Governance at Swedbank from March 2017 to September 2023, overseeing corporate governance and compliance. Ulfward’s extensive experience includes roles as corporate lawyer and Data Protection Officer at ICA Gruppen, and legal positions at Bankgirot and Svenska Bankföreningen, where expertise in financial law was developed. Ulfward also contributed to legal literature as a writer for the Karnov Group AB and served as a temporary expert at the Ministry of Justice. Ulfward holds a Juristexamen from Stockholm University and has attended Poppius journalistskola.
