Ghoutham Umapathy

Ghoutham Umapathy has a strong background in investment banking and corporate finance. Ghoutham is currently serving as the Executive Director and Co-Head of Investment Banking at Spark Capital Advisors, where they focus on enterprise technology and digital sectors. Prior to this, Ghoutham held positions as the Director and Co-Head of Enterprise Technology - Investment Banking and Vice President of Investment Banking at the same company.

Before joining Spark Capital Advisors, Ghoutham gained experience in M&A and corporate strategy at L&T Technology Services Limited, where they served as the Head and GM of M&A and Investments. Ghoutham also held roles as Senior Manager of M&A and Corporate Strategy and Manager of Strategy and M&A.

Ghoutham also has experience as a Board Observer at Graphene Semiconductor Services Pvt Ltd. and Esencia Technologies Inc. Ghoutham started their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at HSBC, where they focused on M&A, IPOs, and restructuring in the transport, shipping, and support services sectors.
