Max Hollingworth

Max Hollingworth has a diverse work experience in the software development and testing field. Max started their career as an Information Services Intern at the City of Delta, where they successfully transitioned vital fiber optic information into the city's GIS software. Max led meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on the project and completed documentation for its continuity.

Max then joined Spark Real Estate Software as a Software Developer in Test. Here, they built a Page Object Model (POM) test automation framework from scratch using Selenium WebDriver and Java. Max automated various types of tests, including smoke, regression, acceptance, and REST API testing. Max also developed documentation for the testing framework to facilitate future hires' onboarding.

Later, Max worked at FORM as a Software Development Engineer in Test. Here, they developed automated mobile tests for iOS and Android using Appium, Java, and the TestNG framework. Max refactored the code base and led test development for key app releases. Max created new testing frameworks for physical device and mobile application integration and web testing for an e-commerce website. Max also onboarded and supported co-op students and implemented new processes to streamline Release Acceptance Testing (RAT) cycles.

Currently, Max is serving as a Senior Software Developer in Test at Spark Real Estate Software, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software testing.

Max Hollingworth attended The University of British Columbia from 2013 to 2018. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering. In addition, from 2016 to 2017, Max completed a Minor in Commerce at the same institution.
