Zhiqiang Chen (Jacky)

Zhiqiang (Jacky) Chen possesses extensive experience in software engineering and system analysis, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Spark Energy since October 2018, where software tools for retail Power & Gas markets are developed. Previously, Zhiqiang held the position of Lead System Analyst at ENGIE North America Inc. from July 2011 to May 2018, focusing on wholesale Power & Gas markets. Prior to this, Zhiqiang was a Senior Software Engineer at Power Costs, Inc. from July 2007 to May 2011, developing software tools for Power & Gas engineering. Zhiqiang also served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Cedarville University, teaching "Numeric methods & Matlab" from June 2010 to January 2011, and worked as a Technical Consultant at PTC from July 2006 to July 2007, implementing projects for clients including nVidia and Blackmoor Engineering. Zhiqiang holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Oklahoma, as well as a Master’s degree from East China University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree from Qingdao University of Science and Technology, all in Mechanical Engineering.
