Erik Heerkes is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing control software and applications for laboratory instruments and databases. Since joining Spark Holland b.v. in June 1998, Erik has focused on creating PC control software utilizing Ethernet TCP/IP, RS-232, and USB communication protocols. Prior to this position, Erik worked at Asysco from September 1996 to June 1998, where responsibilities included building PC applications to replace existing MainFrame applications. Erik's career began as a part-time software engineer at Lauerlabs/Prince Technologies in early 1996, contributing to PC-control software for autosamplers. Erik holds a degree in Technische Informatica from Hogeschool Drenthe, completed in 1996.
