Ian Phillips

Ian Phillips possesses extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Finance ERP Process Lead at Spark New Zealand since September 2011, where responsibilities include leading improvements to finance-based ERP systems. Prior roles at Spark included ERP Core Finance Partner and Finance Performance Manager, focusing on financial performance reporting and forecasting for the organization. Before joining Spark, Ian worked at Blue Star Print Group for a decade, holding positions such as Group Management Reporting Manager and Financial Reporting, overseeing executive reporting and statutory compliance for New Zealand and Australian business units. Ian's career began at KPMG New Zealand, providing accounting and taxation services across various industries. Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Statistics, both from the University of Otago.
