Stephen Holding

Stephen Holding has extensive experience in RF engineering, with a career spanning over two decades in various roles. Currently serving as Domain Chapter Lead - RF Engineering at Spark New Zealand since August 2014, Stephen has held positions including RF Engineering & Deployment Manager and Lead RF Engineer. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Alcatel-Lucent, where responsibilities encompassed LTE & UMTS design and optimization, and as a Senior RF Engineer focusing on CDMA, GSM, and UMTS/HSPA+ systems. Stephen also worked at Andrew Corporation on microcell system design and in-building solutions, and at Allen Telecom, specializing in in-building design and 2G drive test analysis. An alumnus of the University of Plymouth, Stephen holds a degree in Electronic Communication Engineering.
