Tharaka Perera

Tharaka Perera is a seasoned Security Engineer at Spark New Zealand since September 2019, with a prior role as an Engineer - Network and Information Security at N-Able Private Limited from October 2015 to September 2019. Expertise includes configuring and troubleshooting a wide range of firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, FortiGate), load balancers (F5), and security solutions. Tharaka has comprehensive experience in data center infrastructure management, network maintenance, and implementing security configurations, alongside a strong background in network planning and performance improvement from earlier roles with TechCERT and Lanka Communication Services. Tharaka holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton.
