Sean Nelan is currently the Photonics Engineering Lead at Spark Photonics. Prior to this, Sean was the Photonic Design and Fabrication Engineer at Phase Sensitive Innovations, Inc. Sean is also the Co-Founder and Owner of JunkBox Racing. Sean was a Doctoral Graduate Student at the University of Delaware, where Sean also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Sean holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Delaware, along with a Bachelor's degree in the same field. Additionally, Sean has experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Sean's expertise lies in the design, fabrication, and characterization of high-speed electro-optic modulators and discrete on-chip optical components.
