Markus Dörkes

Markus D. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic programs and transformation across the financial services sector. Currently serving as Director at Acuity Knowledge Partners since September 2023, Markus leads value creation initiatives and strategic programs across EMEA, US, and APAC. Prior to this role, Markus was Vice President of BlackRock Platform Innovation from August 2021 to March 2023, where Markus focused on solving complex strategic challenges and developing the firm's investment platform. At UBS, from April 2018 to August 2021, Markus held the position of Associate Director in Group Internal Consulting, leading transformation projects in the APAC region. Markus began a consulting career with EY and KPMG UK, specializing in financial services transformation and advising on digital and business transformation initiatives. Markus holds a BSc in Accounting and Management Sciences from the University of Southampton and A Levels from The Portsmouth Grammar School.
