Michal Kreglewski

Michal Kreglewski has over 19 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Michal is currently the CEO & Co-founder of Sparkbit since June 2014. In this role, they are actively involved as a solutions architect and technical leader in key projects, specializing in telematics systems for driver's behavior analysis. Under their leadership, their teams have successfully deployed these systems for many insurance companies worldwide, with a large user base of hundreds of thousands of drivers. Some of the key technologies they have worked with include Kotlin, Spring, AWS, Docker, Cassandra, Kafka, Python, microservices, and Ansible.

Before Sparkbit, Michal worked as an Independent Contractor at frog from November 2013 to March 2014. During this time, they were responsible for designing and implementing a backend application using Java, Spring, Apache Tomcat, Oracle DB, and REST technologies.

Prior to frog, Michal held multiple roles at NASK. From March 2013 to October 2013, they served as a Technical Project Leader, leading a team of 10 developers and utilizing agile methodologies. Michal'skey technologies during this time included Java, Spring, Apache Tomcat, Neo4J, and PostgreSQL. From June 2010 to February 2013, they held the position of Head of Software Development Department at NASK and led around 15 projects and a team of over 40 engineers. In addition to their managerial responsibilities, Michal was also actively involved as an architect and lead developer in various projects. Michal introduced agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban to the company.

Michal's extensive experience also includes working at Hewlett-Packard as a Technical Consultant. From October 2007 to June 2010, they were a member of the Enterprise Application Integration team, responsible for creating and integrating enterprise applications. Michal'srole involved analysis, designing, implementation, testing, and deployment in several large-scale projects. Some of the key technologies they utilized during this time were Java, Java EE, Spring, JBoss AS, Apache Tomcat, Oracle DB, ESB, SOAP, XML Digital Signature, and test automation tools. Prior to that, from September 2001 to September 2007, Michal worked as a Contractor at Hewlett-Packard, primarily as a Java EE developer and QA engineer. Michal'sprojects included developing an employee portal for a large telecommunication company, a transaction system for a large bank, and workflow and business process automation for an electric power company. Michal also conducted trainings for end users and support and maintenance teams.

Michal Kreglewski began their education by earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Warsaw University of Technology. Michal attended the university from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued further education at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, where they completed a Postgraduate Project Management Programme from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Michal has obtained several certifications including Amazon Web Services Security Specialty, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Professional, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate, ISTQB Foundation Level, Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Web Component Developer, Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer, PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Practitioner, and Professional Scrum Master.
