Ed Hughes

Ed Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ed currently works as a Full-stack Developer at Sparkbox.ai since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Frontend Developer at FX Digital from 2021 to 2023, where they built TV applications using React, React Native, Lightning JS, and TypeScript. Ed also worked closely with clients and stakeholders, delivered applications to Discovery+ and TennisTV, and collaborated with QAs and developers in agile ways of working.

In 2021, Ed worked as a Trainee Software Developer at _nology.io, where they underwent a 12-week full-stack development program and worked on a client project implementing agile methodologies. Additionally, they served as a Product Owner for one sprint.

Ed Hughes earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from The University of Sheffield, graduating in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Harlington Upper School from 2009 to 2014. Outside of their formal education, Ed Hughes obtained a certification in Web Development through a bootcamp offered by Udemy in July 2020. Ed also holds a certification as an Alpine Level 2 Ski Instructor from the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI), which they obtained in December 2018.
