Brendan Reed

Brendan Reed has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Brendan is currently working at Sparkfund, starting in 2017. Their most recent role at Sparkfund is as the Associate Vice President for Growth, which they have been serving since July 2022. Prior to this, they held positions as the Associate Vice President for Distributed Energy Resources, Senior Director of Business Development, and Director of Business Development at the same company. Before joining Sparkfund, Brendan worked at Tesla from March 2017 to August 2017, where they specialized in Policy and Business Development. Prior to Tesla, they worked at SolarCity from April 2013 to March 2017, where they served as the Deputy Director of Policy and Electricity Markets and started as an Energy Consultant. Brendan also worked at Standard Solar as a Residential and Small Commercial Sales Representative for a year from January 2012 to April 2013. Brendan's work experience began in 2009 at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where they worked as an Associate for the Clean Energy Program. Their responsibilities included advancing federal clean energy legislation, managing projects on national security, energy, and climate, as well as conducting research and authoring reports. Prior to that, they had an internship in Media Relations at the Tennessee Titans in 2008. Overall, Brendan Reed has held various positions in the clean energy industry, demonstrating their expertise and commitment to the field.

Brendan Reed attended the University of Delaware from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Communications.
