Madeline Allen-Sandoz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Madeline began their career in 2010 as a Sustainability Intern at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh. Madeline then pursued their education at the University of Pittsburgh from 2006 to 2010. In 2011, they joined Lino Clothing as a Product Developer, where they worked until 2013. The next position they held was as a Sales and Community Outreach Manager at Solar States LLC from 2013 to 2015. Madeline then joined Johnson Controls in October 2015 as an Energy Solutions Development Engineer and continued in this role until December 2019. Since then, they have been with Sparkfund, starting as a Sr. Manager of Project Development Engineer from December 2019 to August 2021, and later moving on to become a Sr. Manager and then the Director of Business Development, starting in April 2022. Madeline Allen-Sandoz obtained a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Sustainability Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they have also acquired several certifications. In 2018, they became a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) through the Association of Energy Engineers. Furthermore, in June 2020, Madeline obtained the Engineer in Training certification from the Pennsylvania Department of State.
