Darren Wiens has worked as a Geospatial Developer at Sparkgeo since May 2017. Prior to that, they were a GIS Analyst at both EDI Environmental Dynamics Inc from March 2013 to April 2017 and Foothills Research Institute from September 2010 to March 2013.
Darren Wiens has a strong educational background in the field of wildlife and biology. Darren pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Wildlife from Louisiana State University from 2005 to 2007. After completing their master's degree, from 2009 to 2010, Darren attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma in GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Simon Fraser University, studying there from 2000 to 2005. Darren's education focuses on wildlife, GIS, and biology, setting the foundation for their expertise in those fields.
