Julia Romanowski has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Julia'smost recent position is as a Software Developer at Sparkgeo starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Normative as an Intermediate Software Developer from March 2020 to February 2022, where they collaborated with clients to define business problems and developed web and mobile solutions using technologies like React and Node. Before that, Julia was a Full-stack Developer at Wondeur Ai from April 2019 to March 2020, where they worked with Vue/Vuex and Ruby on Rails. Julia also has experience as a Format Expert & Product Team Liaison at Format from May 2015 to December 2018. Additionally, Julia worked on a project as a Creator & Developer for Creative Jobs Canada from February 2014 to April 2015, where they built and marketed a creative job search site. Julia began their career as a Digital Marketing Intern at VICE Media from January 2013 to June 2013.
Julia Romanowski attended Lighthouse Labs in 2019 for a Full-stack Web Development Bootcamp. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Marketing/Marketing Management from Ryerson University, which they completed in the years 2009-2013. Julia also holds a certificate in Interaction Design Course from Designlab, which they obtained in May 2018, as well as a UX Research & Design Certificate from the same institution, which they obtained in October 2017.
