Mike Connor

Mike Connor has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and project management. Mike has worked at Sparkgeo as a Developer and DevOps since January 2015. Prior to that, they were a Junior Software Developer at Sparkgeo from July 2014 to July 2015. Before joining Sparkgeo, Mike worked at Northern Steel Ltd. for ten years, starting as a Project Manager/Senior Estimator in August 2004 and ending in July 2014. Mike also has experience as a Draftsman at Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd., where they were involved in creating structural engineered design drawings and coordinating with fabrication companies from 2002 to 2004.

Mike Connor began their education journey in 2000 at the University College of the Cariboo, where they pursued a degree in Engineering Design and Drafting. Mike completed their studies in 2002. Later on, Mike Connor enrolled at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) in 2011, majoring in Computer Sciences. Mike dedicated six years to their studies there, finishing in 2017. In addition to their formal education, Mike Connor obtained two certifications from Udemy in February 2018: "Learn DevOps: Advanced Kubernetes Usage" and "Learn DevOps: The Complete Kubernetes Course."
