Parmvir Thind began their work experience in 2015 as a Cook/Supervisor at Loafe Café. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Junior Sous Chef at Red Rose Restaurant, where they trained new staff and developed the ability to work under time constraints. In 2017, Parmvir joined Sparkgeo as a Software Developer. In 2018, they became the Lead Software Engineer at Vancouver Jade, where they developed a static, responsive website and a mobile application using Gatsby, React Native, and Mapbox.

Parmvir Thind earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Materials Engineering from The University of British Columbia from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, they obtained a diploma in Web Development from Lighthouse Labs.
