Joel Young

Joel Young has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design and exhibit development. Joel most recently served as an Associate Creative Director at Sparks since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Environments Designer at Derse from August 2021 to October 2022. Joel also held positions as a Senior Exhibit Designer at Catalyst Exhibits from October 2015 to May 2020 and from February 2005 to May 2013. Joel had their own design studio called Joel Young Studio from January 2014 to September 2015. Additionally, Joel worked as a Design Director/Senior Exhibit Designer at MICE North America from April 2002 to January 2005, as a Design Director at Exhibitron from May 2000 to March 2002, as a Senior Exhibit Designer at Heritage Exhibits from October 1999 to April 2000, and as an Exhibition Designer at Contempo Design from April 1996 to September 1999. Overall, Joel Young has demonstrated expertise and a strong track record in various design roles throughout their career.

Joel Young attended San Jose State University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design.
