Trevor Steels

Trevor Steels has a strong background in design and creative direction. Trevor started their career as a Design Assistant and Fabricator at Taller Talavera from 2004 to 2006. Trevor then worked as a Design Intern at Design Compendium in 2007, where they gained experience in concept development and project visualization. Trevor then joined Studio Cicetti Architect in 2010 as a Designer, where they generated concepts, developed designs, and managed construction progress for commercial and residential projects. In 2013, they became the Design + Fabrication Lead at Aurora Lopez Mejia, focusing on design and fabrication. Trevor then joined Derse in 2014 as an Experiential Marketing Creative Lead, and in 2016, they joined Sparks as a Senior Designer. Trevor progressively moved up the ranks at Sparks, becoming an Associate Creative Director in 2022 and eventually landing the role of Creative Director in 2023. Trevor's work experience demonstrates a strong foundation in design, as well as expertise in fabrication, project management, and creative direction.

Trevor Steels earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in 2010. Trevor then pursued a Master's Degree in Exhibition Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they received an Associate's Degree in Visual Merchandising from LIM College from 2004 to 2006.
