Chris Izquierdo

Chris Izquierdo has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Chris is currently the CEO of Sparrow Connected, a company that specializes in designing and implementing modern digital workplaces. Prior to this, they were the Director of the Edmonton Screen Industries Office, where they supported the development and growth of the screen industries in the Edmonton Metro area.

Chris is also the Founder and former CEO of DevFacto, a technology consulting firm. During their tenure at DevFacto, they held various roles including Vice-President and played a key role in its founding. Chris was also the Director on the Board of Directors for Business Link AB, an entrepreneurial hub in Alberta, and Cerebra Health, a company focused on improving sleep through technology-based solutions.

Before these experiences, Chris co-founded and served as a Director for DigitalCtrl, a marketing automation and analytics company. Chris was also involved in the founding of MorganThomas, a business and technology advisory firm that was later acquired by RSM.

Chris started their career at Avanade as the Canadian SharePoint Consulting Practice Lead and Solution Architect. Chris also held roles at BoardSuite Corp. and iomer internet solutions inc. as a VP of Architecture and Senior Solutions Architect, respectively.

From 1992 to 1996, Chris Izquierdo attended the University of Havana, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science.
