Karen SueAnn Yao

Karen SueAnn Yao has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Karen SueAnn is currently working as a Product Designer at Sparrow Connected, where they lead the design of their platform user experience and collaborates with the engineering team. Karen SueAnn is also responsible for creating and maintaining the company website and implementing the brand identity.

Prior to their current role, Karen worked as a Junior User Experience Designer at DevFacto and as a School Assistant at York Region District School Board - Anne Frank Public School. Karen SueAnn also gained experience as a Research and Analytics Intern at Hope and Healing International and as a Digital Strategy Consultant at The Sean Ward Show.

From 2019 to 2020, Karen studied at Centennial College, where they obtained an Ontario College Graduate Certificate With Honours in Interactive Media Management.

Prior to that, from 2012 to 2016, they attended the University of Santo Tomas and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism.

In addition to their formal education, Karen has also obtained additional certifications. In August 2021, they received the verification of their International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services. Earlier, in June 2018, they completed a course in Learning Conversion Rate Optimization from Lynda.com.
