Eli de Leon

Eli de Leon is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and volunteer work. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at Sparta Area School District since August 2021, Eli previously held the position of 5th Grade Dual Language Teacher at Hillsboro School District from August 2015 to June 2021, following a role as a Paralegal at the same district where responsibilities included teaching kindergarten Spanish literacy and leading literature groups. Eli's volunteer experience includes participation in Saint John's University Benedictine Volunteer Corps in Italy, where important contributions were made to social programs. Additional roles at Saint John's University involved supervision of summer workers, management of projects at the Abbey, and serving as a Resident Assistant. Eli holds a Master of Education in K-12 education from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Saint John's University.
