David Dyson

David Dyson has over 35 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. David most recently worked as the Director of Engineering at Sparta Systems, a Honeywell Company, starting in January 2016. Prior to this role, they took a personal sabbatical to work on a restoration project from October 2014 to December 2015. Before their sabbatical, David spent nearly a decade at Nielsen as Senior Director, Global Platforms. David also had a successful tenure at HP as a Member of the Applied Technology Office from 2000 to 2005. Prior to HP, David worked at ACNielsen as a Technical Manager and at Omnitester Corp as an Engineering Leader. David began their career at Telesciences, Inc as a Member of the Technical Staff.

David Dyson began their education at Lincoln Tech - Moorestown in 1979, where they studied Electronics Technician. David obtained a certification in ElasticSearch Core Development from Elastic in December 2016. In June 2016, they earned a CSM certification from Scrum Alliance. David achieved a certification in MicroStrategy Suite, specializing in report and dashboard authoring, extensive SDK experience customizing overall web and mobile experience, and custom integration with existing enterprise security model, from MicroStrategy in August 2012. In July 2009, they obtained a TIBCO Spotfire SDK certification from TIBCO Spotfire. Prior to that, they earned a TIBCO Business Works certification from TIBCO Software Inc. in March 2009. In September 2008, they received a Cognos Suite certification from IBM, specializing in Report Studio, Query Studio, Event Studio, and detailed SDK experience with a 3rd party framework from Motio.
