Matthew Shin, P.Eng, CAP is an experienced Automation Engineer currently employed at Spartan Controls since February 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Control System Engineer at Worley from May 2012 to February 2021 and gained initial industry experience as a Web Developer Co-op at GE, where website development for control solutions and customer communication systems was completed. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Quality Assurance Assistant at GE, conducting testing for control software and reporting bugs. Early experience includes a position as a Computer Technician at Alberta Computers for School, where Matthew repaired and donated computers. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Computer Process Control from the University of Alberta, completed in 2012.
