Shane Howorko

Shane Howorko, P.Eng, is an accomplished Project Engineer in the Combustion Management Group at Spartan Controls since August 2019, specializing in the design of fuel gas trains and instrumentation for various fired equipment. Previous experience includes roles as a Production Engineering Intern and Relief Well Operator at Canadian Natural Resources Limited, where Shane contributed to well economics, reservoir analysis, and maintenance activities. Prior to that, Shane worked as Lake Staff for the Arbour Lake Residents Association, and as a Control Systems Specialist during an internship at Spartan Controls, focusing on PID control loops and DeltaV systems. Shane's professional journey began at McDonald's as a Crew Trainer, cultivating essential customer service skills. Shane holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, completed in 2019.
