Carl Wright

Carl Wright has extensive experience in procurement and risk management, currently serving as the Procurement & Risk Manager for the City of Spartanburg since June 1993. In this role, Carl has also held positions as Risk Manager and GovDeals Coordinator, overseeing the management and disposition of surplus assets. Additionally, Carl previously worked as the Procurement Card Administrator and directed the Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise Program, aimed at fostering growth and opportunities for historically underutilized businesses. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from South Carolina State University and has completed Dale Carnegie Training.
