Christopher George is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a robust background in digital content management and multimedia production. Since July 2013, Christopher has served as the Communications & Marketing Manager for the City of Spartanburg, overseeing strategic communications, marketing initiatives, and direct engagement with residents and stakeholders. Previous roles include Digital Content Manager and Multimedia Communications Specialist, where responsibilities involved content strategy and production across various platforms, including social media and podcasts. Christopher's freelance work from November 2009 to June 2016 included providing media services for various organizations, and prior engagements as Publisher and Political Editor at Spartanburg Spark showcased skills in local journalism and political reporting.
