Blake Osborne is an experienced professional with a diverse background in customer service and educational support. Currently serving as an Adult Services Assistant and Children's Assistant at Spartanburg County Public Libraries since June 2022, Blake has previously held various roles, including Sales Associate at Bath & Body Works and Student Intern at Triumph Services. Experience as a Teaching Assistant at HAND IN HAND EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER INC and Cashier at Chick-fil-A-Franchise further highlights Blake's commitment to service and education. Blake earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Samford University in 2022, complementing an earlier high school diploma from St. Joseph’s Catholic School.

Spartanburg’s first Library opened in 1885, 128 years ago, on Morgan Square. The Headquarters and nine branch libraries including the Bookmobile, Home Delivery and the Libraries’ online digital library meet the informational and educational needs of the County through a comprehensive slate of services. Over 90% of Spartanburg County’s population lives within 5 miles of a public library; over 1.8 million items were checked‐out; 1.5 million patrons visited the Library for services including programs, meeting rooms and reader services; and 1.1 million patrons used the Library’s online digital resources.
