Kris Pratt

Professor of Religion at Spartanburg Methodist College

Kris Pratt is the current Professor of Religion at Spartanburg Methodist College. Kris has also served as the Director of Academic Advising at Spartanburg Methodist College from July 2010 to May 2017. Prior to that, Kris was an Assistant Professor of Religion at Palm Beach Atlantic University from January 2005 to August 2007. Kris has also been an Instructor in Christian Heritage at Baylor University from August 2003 to December 2004 and a Graduate Assistant in Religion at Baylor University from August 2000 to May 2003. Additionally, Kris was a Greek and New Testament Grader at Gardner-Webb University from August 1998 to May 1999. Most recently, Kris served as the Minister of Youth and Education at Mountain Grove Baptist Church from November 1996 to July 2000.

Kris Pratt holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Baylor University in Religion/Religious Studies, a Master’s Degree from Gardner-Webb University in Divinity/Ministry, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Education.
