Marty Woods

Marty Woods is the VP of Facilities at Spartanburg Methodist College. Marty previously served as the Director of Facilities at Presbyterian College from July 2010 to February 2014. In this role, they managed the day-to-day operations of campus services, including the maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping departments. Marty also directed the daily activities of all sub contractors who provided work at the college. Additionally, they were responsible for OSHA, EPA, and DHEC compliance.

Before their time at Presbyterian College, Marty worked at BBA Fiberweb as the Facility Operations Coordinator from March 2000 to December 2007. In this role, they were directly responsible for the leadership of three departments in a polyethylene terephthalate extrusion facility; facility production operations, technical training, and a facility maintenance department.

Marty Woods has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Liberty University and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in HVACR from Piedmont Technical College.

Marty Woods reports to W. Scott Cochran, President. They are on a team with Jacob S. Armitage - Controller, Kerry Van Winkle - Accounts Receivable Specialist, and Kyle Wade - Director, Financial Aid & Enrollment Services.
